Early Life and Political Career
Robert Menendez, born on January 1, 1954, is an American lawyer and Democrat politician. He has served as the senior United States senator from New Jersey since 2006. His political journey began in 1987 when he was elected to the Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
