Thursday's Everton News: Textor to offer shares, Mykolenko heckled, Villa team news
Textor to offer shares in new Everton investment plan
In a bid to raise funds for a new stadium at Bramley Moore Dock, majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri is set to offer fellow investors the chance to buy shares in the club.
Moshiri is seeking to sell a 25% stake in the Toffees and hopes to raise around £100m from the move.
The news comes after a difficult period for Everton on and off the pitch. The team has struggled for form in recent months and is currently 17th in the Premier League.
Mykolenko heckled by own fans as Everton lose to Southampton
Vitaliy Mykolenko was heckled by his own fans as Everton slumped to a 2-1 defeat at home to Southampton on Saturday.
The left-back was at fault for the Saints' second goal, which proved to be the winner.
Mykolenko was substituted shortly after and was met with jeers from the Goodison Park crowd.
Villa team news ahead of clash with Everton
Aston Villa will be without Leon Bailey and Lucas Digne for their clash with Everton on Saturday.
Bailey is nursing a hamstring injury, while Digne is suspended.
Steven Gerrard is likely to make changes to his team following the 4-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend.
