Qualcomm Crash Dump Mode

How to fix a bricked phone in Qualcomm Crash Dump mode

Methods to revive your device

If your Android phone refuses to function and displays the Qualcomm Crash Dump Mode message on the screen, it means that its software has crashed and the phone is unable to boot properly. This can be a frustrating experience, but there are two methods that can help you fix your bricked phone and revive it back from the Qualcomm Crash Dump mode.

Method 1: Using a computer

The first method involves using a computer to flash the phone's firmware. This will overwrite the corrupted software and restore your phone to its factory settings. To do this, you will need a computer with a USB port, a USB cable, and the firmware for your phone. 1. Download the firmware for your phone from the manufacturer's website. 2. Extract the firmware file to a folder on your computer. 3. Connect your phone to the computer using the USB cable. 4. Open a command prompt window on your computer. 5. Navigate to the folder where you extracted the firmware file. 6. Type the following command into the command prompt window: ``` fastboot flash all ``` 7. Press Enter. The flashing process will begin. Once it is complete, your phone will reboot and you will be able to use it again.

Method 2: Using a recovery image

If the first method does not work, you can try using a recovery image to fix your phone. A recovery image is a file that contains the factory settings for your phone. To use a recovery image, you will need a computer with a USB port, a USB cable, and the recovery image for your phone. 1. Download the recovery image for your phone from the manufacturer's website. 2. Extract the recovery image file to a folder on your computer. 3. Connect your phone to the computer using the USB cable. 4. Turn off your phone. 5. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons on your phone. 6. When the phone vibrates, release the Power button but continue to hold the Volume Down button. 7. The phone will boot into the recovery mode. 8. Use the Volume Up and Down buttons to navigate to the "Apply update from ADB" option. 9. Press the Power button to select the option. 10. On your computer, open a command prompt window. 11. Navigate to the folder where you extracted the recovery image file. 12. Type the following command into the command prompt window: ``` adb sideload recovery.img ``` 13. Press Enter. The recovery image will be flashed to your phone. Once the process is complete, your phone will reboot and you will be able to use it again.
