Build-A-Bear Workshop Shifts Halloween Collection Release Date
Build-A-Bear Workshop has announced it is shifting the launch of its highly anticipated Halloween collection due to an unauthorized leak of licensed products on social media platforms. The company has pulled forward the release date of several items, including the fan-favorite Sanrio characters Kuromi, My Melody, and Little Twin Stars.
Other products also expedited due to high consumer demand include Pumpkin Kitty, an orange and black cat plush, and Spooky Bat Kuromi, a plush of Kuromi dressed in a bat costume. Build-A-Bear is accelerating the launch of its entire Halloween collection to meet the overwhelming demand from fans.
"We are thrilled by the excitement our Sanrio Halloween collection has generated," said a Build-A-Bear spokesperson. "We want to ensure that our customers have the opportunity to get their hands on these limited-edition items as soon as possible."
The new Halloween collection launches on August 8, 2024, in stores and online at Build-A-Bear.com.
