Olympic Beach Volleyball Rankings Unveiled

The countdown to the Paris 2024 Olympics is well underway, and the latest Olympic beach volleyball rankings have been released. The rankings were determined after last weekend's Stare, and they paint a clear picture of the teams to watch at the upcoming Games.
On the women's side, the top five teams are:
- Katie Stam and Sophie Bukovec (Canada)
- Raisa Schoon and Katja Stam (Netherlands)
- Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes (Canada)
- Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar (Australia)
- Zoe Verge-Depre and Esmee Bobner (Netherlands)
Verge-Depre and Bobner are the newly crowned bronze medalists at the WEB, and they will be looking to build on that momentum in Paris. The top-ranked team, Stam and Bukovec, are the reigning Olympic champions, and they will be the team to beat in 2024.
On the men's side, the top five teams are:
- Anders Mol and Christian Sorum (Norway)
- Vitor Felipe and Renato Carvalho (Brazil)
- Anders Berntsen and Mol (Norway)
- George Wanderley and Andre Loyola (Brazil)
- Alison Cerutti and Guto Carvalhaes (Brazil)
Mol and Sorum are the reigning Olympic champions, and they will be looking to defend their title in Paris. They face strong competition from fellow Norwegians Berntsen and Mol, as well as the top-ranked Brazilian team of Felipe and Carvalho.
